Durex Coverings is a locally owned and customer oriented company that was founded in 1964 by Omar H. Bucher.

Durex Coverings is a certified installer for many major polymer floor systems as well as a leader in the gypsum and cement underlayments. In addition, Durex Coverings has become a recognized expert in the application of parking structure protective coatings.

The company serves the Mid-Atlantic region with offices in Brownstown, PA and Elkridge, MD.

Our greatest strength is the field experience of our project managers and installation foremen. Many of our installation foremen have more than ten years of experience with eight serving for more than twenty years. For those customers with a large project and a tight installation schedule, Durex Coverings has the ability to pool its labor from both offices to meet the deadline.
